Detailed description of project:
The purpose of this project was to modernize and enhance the “e-consulate” system within the framework of the component “e-Governance solutions for improved service delivery” and to create a capability for modernization, enhancement of the operating system, and provision of new services, through an on-line filing portal. The system will be integrated with the current payment system of RA for accepting possible payments, with the responses to applications being delivered to citizens by means of a mailing service.
Software solutions delivered:
- Modernization/redevelopment of current e-consulate system
- Modernization of existing services
- Development of new services for modernized e-consulate system and its integration with overall RA e-governance infrastructure
- Portal graphic design
- Creation of search and reporting modules
- Integration with e-payments portal
- Establishment of live data exchange with the police, CARO, and other relevant Government bodies
- Development of publicly available online e-consulate system
- Development of an online forms designer to enable development and publication of Consular application forms
- Complete automation of application submission process
- Development of registered user personal inbox for citizens to view/draft/edit/archive their consular applications and track changes on their submitted applications
- Development of online forms for each type of application
- Distance training of employees from 50 consulate units, as well as corresponding employees in the RA MFA consular department, conducted via Skype or other relevant video conferencing tool.
